pet fee
Lodging animal surcharge
A pet fee is a one-time charge paid to bring a pet into a rental property or hotel.
Unlike a pet deposit, which may be refundable, a pet fee covers the anticipated extra cleaning or wear from having an animal on the premises: The apartment complex charges a $300 pet fee per animal.
Some landlords charge both.
