perjured
Lied under oath
Perjured describes someone who has committed perjury—lying under oath in legal proceedings.
A perjured witness has given false testimony.
The term can also describe the testimony itself: perjured statements.
To perjure oneself is to knowingly make false statements while sworn to tell the truth: He perjured himself on the stand.
