perchance
It could happen
Perchance means perhaps or possibly, but carries a literary or archaic flavor.
It appears most often in quotations or deliberate archaism: To sleep, perchance to dream.
Modern speakers use it ironically or for comic effect: Perchance you could explain why you're three hours late?
