peepshows
Quarter-slot adult entertainment
Peepshows are entertainments viewed through a small opening or slot.
Historically, these were boxes containing pictures or scenes viewed through a lens.
The term now most often refers to coin-operated booths in adult establishments where customers watch erotic performances or films through a window: The old Times Square was full of peepshows and adult theaters.
