pea shoot
Young pea plant
Pea shoots are the young, tender stems and leaves of pea plants, harvested before the plant matures.
They have a mild, sweet flavor reminiscent of fresh peas and appear in salads, stir-fries, and as garnishes: The salad was topped with fresh pea shoots.
