park and ride
Leave car, bus
Park and ride is a system where commuters drive to a designated parking area, usually at the edge of a city or near public transit, then continue their journey by bus, train, or carpool.
The term also refers to the facility itself: There's a park and ride near the highway exit.
The arrangement reduces urban traffic and parking demand.
