parenticide
Murdering one's progenitors
Parenticide is the killing of one's parent, or a person who commits such an act.
The word covers both matricide (killing one's mother) and patricide (killing one's father) under a single term: The defense argued the parenticide was committed in self-defense after years of abuse.
