paper marbling
Swirled ink craft
Paper marbling is a technique for creating swirled, decorative patterns by floating pigments on a liquid surface and transferring them to paper.
The colors spread and can be manipulated with combs or styluses to form feathered, stone-like, or wavelike designs.
The result—also called marbled paper—traditionally appears on book endpapers and covers: The antique volume had beautiful marbled endpapers.
