pallidity
Lack of color
Pallidity is the quality of being pale—lacking color or vitality.
The word applies to complexions drained of healthy hue, but extends to anything wan or washed out: the pallidity of winter light, the pallidity of his prose.
It suggests not just absence of color but a kind of lifelessness or weakness.
