painting rocks
Coloring found pebbles
Painting rocks is a craft activity in which small stones are decorated with paint, often with designs, words, or characters.
Painted rocks may be hidden in public places for others to find, collected as a hobby, or used as garden decorations.
The activity is popular with children and as a community-building pastime: We spent the afternoon painting rocks to leave around the neighborhood.
