noobs

Inexperienced online players

Noobs are newcomers or inexperienced players, especially in online gaming.

The term carries condescension—a noob isn't just new but cluelessly so, making obvious mistakes or asking questions easily answered by searching.

Stop feeding the enemy team, noob.

Also spelled newbs or n00bs.

Someone who's been playing long enough to know better but still plays badly may be called a noob as an insult.
