nonreproducing
Unable to procreate
Nonreproducing describes organisms or entities that do not produce offspring.
The term appears in biology to distinguish sterile individuals, dormant phases, or populations that have stopped breeding: nonreproducing worker bees, nonreproducing cells.
It can also describe anything designed not to make copies of itself: nonreproducing software.
