Letting subscription lapse
Nonrenewal is the decision not to extend or continue something when its term expires—typically a contract, lease, subscription, or policy.
Unlike cancellation, which ends something before its term, nonrenewal simply lets it lapse: The insurance company sent a nonrenewal notice thirty days before the policy expired.
