neurotypicals

Non-autistic people, colloquially

Neurotypicals are people whose neurological development and functioning fall within conventional norms—those without autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or similar conditions.

The term originated in autistic communities as a neutral counterpart to "autistic," gently highlighting that "normal" brains are just one variety: Neurotypicals don't always get our humor.

Sometimes used with light irony.
