neopagans
Contemporary nature worshippers
Neopagans are followers of neopaganism—modern religious movements that draw on pre-Christian polytheistic traditions, nature worship, and folk practices.
The term encompasses Wiccans, Druids, heathens, and others who reconstruct or reimagine ancient spiritualities: The neopagans gathered for a solstice celebration.
Most neopagans emphasize reverence for nature and seasonal cycles.
