myriad
Too many counting
Myriad means a very large, indefinite number.
As a noun: a myriad of stars.
As an adjective: myriad possibilities.
Both forms are standard, though some insist the adjective form is more correct.
The word originally meant ten thousand in Greek, but that precise sense is long obsolete in English.
