mountain zebra
African highland horse
Mountain zebra is either of two subspecies of zebra native to the mountainous regions of southwestern Africa.
Distinguished from plains zebras by a dewlap under the throat and narrower stripes that don't extend onto the belly, mountain zebras inhabit rocky, arid terrain in Namibia and South Africa: The mountain zebra population has recovered thanks to conservation efforts.
