modified push-up
Knees-down chest press
A modified push-up is a push-up performed with knees on the ground rather than in full plank position, reducing the amount of body weight lifted.
The modification makes the exercise more accessible for beginners or those building upper-body strength: Start with modified push-ups until you can do ten regular ones.
