A mindmeld is a merging of thoughts or consciousness between two people, from the telepathic technique in *Star Trek* where Vulcans share minds through touch.
Now used loosely for any intense meeting of minds or moment of perfect mutual understanding: We had a mindmeld about the project direction.
Often spelled as two words or hyphenated.
