mina
Sixty shekels, once
A mina is an ancient unit of weight and currency used throughout the Mediterranean and Near East, equal to about one-sixtieth of a talent.
In biblical contexts, minas appear in parables about servants entrusted with money: He gave each servant ten minas.
The myna bird is sometimes spelled mina. (Capitalized Mina is a given name.)
