mid-July

Deep summer weeks

Mid-July is the middle portion of July, roughly the 10th through the 20th.

Like other mid-month compounds, it's useful when precision isn't needed but "July" alone is too vague: We're planning a vacation for mid-July.

Often hyphenated, though sometimes written as two words.
