maxi-single
Lengthened music release
A maxi-single is an extended music release larger than a standard single but smaller than an album, typically containing three to five tracks.
It often includes remixes, extended versions, or B-sides alongside the main single: The maxi-single featured four dance remixes of the title track.
The format was especially popular in the 1980s and 1990s for electronic and dance music.
