majority voting
Most votes win
Majority voting is a decision-making method where the option receiving more than half the votes wins.
In elections, a majority means over 50%, as opposed to a plurality, which simply means the most votes.
The term also appears in machine learning, where multiple models vote on predictions and the most common answer is selected: The ensemble uses majority voting to classify new data.
