Magic points are a resource in video games that gets spent when casting spells or using special abilities.
Often abbreviated MP, they typically regenerate over time or through items and rest.
The concept appears across role-playing games, strategy games, and other genres: I'm out of magic points—I can't heal us until I rest.
Also called mana in many games.
