Blocky, not sharp
Lo-res is short for low-resolution, describing images or displays with relatively few pixels, resulting in a blocky, less detailed appearance.
The term often carries nostalgic connotations, evoking early video games and computer graphics: The lo-res aesthetic has become fashionable in indie games.
