livestock show
Farm animal competition
A livestock show is a competitive exhibition where farmers and breeders display animals—cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry—to be judged on breed standards, conformation, and condition.
County and state fairs typically include livestock shows, and young people participate through organizations like 4-H and FFA: She won a blue ribbon at the livestock show with her Hereford steer.
