lites

Windowpane glass sections

Lites is the plural of lite, the informal spelling of light used for reduced-calorie or low-alcohol products: Miller Lites, lite beers.

In architecture and construction, lites are individual panes of glass in a window or door: a six-lite window, the broken lite needs replacing.

This technical sense predates the marketing spelling.
