life everlasting
Never-ending being
Life everlasting refers to existence without end, particularly the eternal life promised in Christian theology after death: He believed in life everlasting.
The phrase appears in the Apostles' Creed and other religious texts.
Life everlasting is also a common name for several plants with papery flowers that retain their form when dried, especially cudweeds and similar species used in dried arrangements.
