lead figures
Small metal statues
Lead figures are small figurines cast from lead, typically representing soldiers, animals, or characters for games and collecting.
Toy soldiers were traditionally made this way before safety concerns about lead toxicity shifted production to other materials.
The term also applies to miniatures used in tabletop wargaming and role-playing games, though modern versions use pewter or plastic: He painted his lead figures for the weekend's campaign.
