keymap
Keyboard shortcut configuration
A keymap is a configuration that assigns functions or commands to keyboard keys.
In software applications, especially text editors and development environments, keymaps determine what happens when you press particular keys or key combinations: I switched to a vim keymap for faster editing.
Users often customize keymaps to match their workflow or to emulate other programs they're familiar with.
