keylessness
Lacking physical keys
Keylessness is the state or quality of being without keys.
The word appears mainly in discussions of modern technology—keyless entry systems for cars, keyless door locks—where it describes the designed absence of physical keys: The keylessness of the new system took some getting used to.
Less commonly, it describes simply not having one's keys: His keylessness left him stranded outside.
