jardinière
Decorative plant stand
A jardinière is an ornamental container for displaying plants or flowers, typically a decorative pot or stand placed indoors.
The word comes from French, where it means "female gardener." In cooking, jardinière refers to a garnish or preparation of mixed vegetables, usually diced or cut into uniform pieces: veal jardinière, a jardinière of spring vegetables.
