interweaved

Laced through mutually

Interweaved is a nonstandard past tense and past participle of interweave, which means to weave together or blend elements so they become interconnected.

The standard forms are interwove (past) and interwoven (past participle), but interweaved appears in casual usage: The author interweaved multiple storylines throughout the novel.

Like many irregular verbs, interweave sometimes gets regularized in speech and informal writing.
