intervention team
Help squad dispatched
An intervention team is a group assembled to confront someone about destructive behavior—typically addiction—and urge them toward treatment.
The team usually includes family members, friends, and often a professional interventionist who guides the process: The intervention team gathered at his sister's house before he arrived.
The term also applies to workplace groups addressing employee issues or crisis response units in schools and hospitals.
