internalizable

Able to absorb

Internalizable describes something capable of being taken in and made part of oneself—whether beliefs, values, skills, or costs.

In psychology, internalizable norms are those a person can genuinely adopt rather than merely comply with: Children need rules that are internalizable, not just enforced.

In economics, internalizable costs are external effects that can be incorporated into prices or decision-making.
