infixed
Set firmly inside
Infixed describes something inserted into the middle of a word or structure.
In linguistics, an infix is an affix placed within a root rather than at the beginning or end: The -bloody- in "abso-bloody-lutely" is infixed for emphasis.
More broadly, anything embedded or fixed firmly within something else can be called infixed.
