infernals
Beings from below
Infernals are beings from hell or the underworld—demons, devils, and similar creatures of the lower realms.
The term appears most often in fantasy fiction and games, where infernals typically oppose celestials (angels and heavenly beings): The party encountered a group of infernals guarding the portal.
As an adjective used as a noun, it emphasizes the hellish nature of such creatures.
