indirect object
To whom given
An indirect object is the person or thing that receives the direct object of a verb—the recipient of an action rather than the thing acted upon.
In She gave him the book, "him" is the indirect object (receiving the book) while "book" is the direct object (the thing given).
Indirect objects typically answer "to whom?" or "for whom?" and usually appear between the verb and direct object.
