in-turn
One following another
In-turn describes the position or movement of something rotated inward, toward the center or body.
In curling, an in-turn is a shot where the stone rotates clockwise (for a right-handed thrower) as it travels down the ice, curving inward.
The term appears in various technical contexts where inward rotation matters: an in-turn of the foot, the in-turn delivery curved toward the button.
