improv actors
Unscripted stage players
Improv actors are performers who create scenes, dialogue, and characters spontaneously without a script.
They typically work in comedy troupes, building sketches from audience suggestions or prompts from fellow performers.
The craft requires quick thinking, collaboration, and the famous "yes, and" principle—accepting what scene partners establish and building on it: The improv actors turned a single word from the audience into a fifteen-minute bit.
