ideologists
Political philosophy advocates
People who develop, promote, or rigidly adhere to an ideology—a systematic set of beliefs about politics, society, or economics.
The term often carries a negative connotation, suggesting inflexibility or dogmatism: The ideologists on both sides refuse to compromise.
An ideologist may be a theorist who shapes doctrine or simply a true believer who applies it zealously.
