Subzero lager style
Ice beer is beer that has been partially frozen during brewing, then filtered to remove ice crystals.
This concentrates the alcohol and flavor, producing a stronger, smoother beer than conventional brewing.
The process became a marketing trend in North American brewing during the 1990s: Grab me an ice beer from the cooler.
