house brands
Retailer's own products
House brands are products manufactured for and sold under a retailer's own name rather than a national brand: The supermarket's house brands are cheaper than name brands.
Also called store brands or private labels.
House brands typically cost less but may be produced by the same manufacturers as branded equivalents.
