hot-knife
Warm cutting tool
Hot-knife refers to a method of consuming cannabis concentrates by heating a knife blade (traditionally on a stove) and pressing the substance against it to vaporize, then inhaling the smoke: We used to hot-knife hash back in college.
As a verb, to hot-knife is to use this technique.
The method is considered old-school and somewhat dangerous compared to modern vaporizers.
