Homefries are chunks or slices of potato, pan-fried until crispy on the outside.
A staple of American diner breakfasts, served alongside eggs and bacon.
Unlike hash browns, which are shredded, homefries keep their shape and often include onions and peppers: I'll have the omelet with homefries and toast.
