comprehensive coverage
All risks included
Comprehensive coverage is an insurance term for protection that pays for damage to your vehicle from incidents other than collisions—theft, vandalism, fire, hail, flooding, or hitting an animal.
It's sometimes called "other than collision" coverage.
Despite the name, comprehensive coverage doesn't cover everything; it pairs with collision coverage to provide full protection for your car.
I'm glad I had comprehensive coverage when that tree fell on my car.
