helicopter shots
Overhead sweeping footage
Helicopter shots are camera shots filmed from a helicopter, providing sweeping aerial views of landscapes, cityscapes, or action sequences.
Common in film and television for establishing shots or dramatic chase scenes: The movie opens with helicopter shots of the Manhattan skyline.
In cricket, a helicopter shot is a batting stroke where the batsman swings the bat in a circular motion above the head after hitting the ball, generating power for boundary shots.
