Back shoe grip
A heel tab is the small loop or strip of fabric at the back of a shoe, just above the heel.
It makes the shoe easier to pull on, especially for snug-fitting footwear like sneakers or boots: She tugged on the heel tab to get her running shoes on.
Also called a pull tab or heel loop.
