heat pump dryer
Condensing clothes dryer
A heat pump dryer is a clothes dryer that recycles heat rather than venting it outside.
Unlike conventional dryers that expel hot, moist air, heat pump dryers use a closed loop—extracting moisture from clothes, cooling the air to condense the water, then reheating and recirculating it.
They use significantly less energy but take longer to dry loads.
The heat pump dryer cut our electricity bill but added twenty minutes per cycle.
