ghost touch
Screen's false signal
Ghost touch is an unintended touch input registered on a touchscreen device without physical contact—the screen responds as if tapped or swiped by an invisible finger.
The phenomenon typically results from hardware defects, electrical interference, or screen damage: My phone keeps opening apps on its own—definitely ghost touch.
Also called phantom touch.
